We wanted to share our top 5.

1. Fresh Fruit Peanut Butter Sandwich 

Prep Time: 10 mins

An easy upgrade to your basic Peanut Butter sandwich. Pick your favorite fruits, add some peanut butter and make a sandwich out of it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of multigrain bread
  • 1 tsp chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup sliced apples or bananas
  • ¼ cup berries of your choice
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder
  • ½ tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Akiva Superfoods’ Crunchy Peanut Butter

Instructions:

  1. Spread the Crunchy Peanut Butter evenly on both slices of bread.
  2. Layer with fruits, berries, walnuts, a drizzle of honey and a pinch of cinnamon powder.
  3. Top the slice with the other slice and grill.

2. Banana Matcha Peanut Butter Milkshake

Prep Time: 10 minutes

This milkshake is green. Like, seriously, green, bright and just amazing! This delicious, creamy and healthy shake can be whipped up in minutes and is amazing for kids and adults alike.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • ½ cup chilled milk
  • ⅓ cup Akiva Superfoods’ Matcha Peanut Butter
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 peeled, sliced, and frozen banana
  • Whipped cream (for garnishing)
  • Sprinkles (for garnishing)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the ingredients
  2. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with whipped cream, maybe some sprinkles and whatever your heart desires!

3. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bites

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

These super healthy, instant energy bite sized treats are great when on the move!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup oats
  • ⅔ cup shredded coconut
  • ⅓ cup chopped almonds
  • ½ cup Akiva Superfoods’ Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Mix the ingredients together in a big bowl. 
  2. Roll the mixture into bite sized balls and place them in a tray lined with baking paper. 
  3. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes.

4. Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Prep Time: 25 minutes

The best homemade peanut butter pancake recipe that you’ll fall in love with. Whip them up for breakfast or have some breakfast for dinner. 

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Akiva Superfoods’ Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup maple syrup 
  • Nuts or fresh fruits (for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Sift all wet ingredients and dry ingredients separately in two bowls.
  2. Combine and whip up them together in a large bowl until smooth and dense.
  3. Pour the batter on a lightly greased skillet and cook both sides on medium heat until they turn golden brown. 
  4. Stack the fluffy pancakes and serve with a good drizzle of maple syrup and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter. Garnish with some nuts or fresh fruits.

5. Peanut Butter Salted Caramel Ice – Cream

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 3-4 hours

Rich, crunchy and sweet with a hint of salted caramel; if you love peanut butter then this ice-cream is for you.

Ingredients:

  • 100g Akiva Superfoods’ Crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 180g caster sugar
  • 250ml cream
  • 10ml peanut oil or unrefined oil.
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 litre vanilla ice cream

Instructions:

  1. Boil sugar and 50ml of water and cook till dark caramel is formed. 
  2. Whisk fresh cream to the caramel until it is smooth. Add Crunchy Peanut Butter, peanut oil and sea salt to the caramel.
  3. Leave vanilla ice cream at room temperature for 15 minutes. Then, slowly fold the Peanut butter caramel mixture into it to form a ripple effect.
  4. Transfer this to a container and allow it to freeze for a couple of hours.
